I have worked in the field of adolescent psychiatry and with anorectics. This story described the inner world of the anorectics and the cutters pretty well and I could also emphathize with the feelings of the parents of Lia and Cassie. Lia's struggle was heart-wrenching to follow.
I found this book on tchaikovsky's Top 3 -wishlist and offered to mail it to the US next.
