Picked up at the meet up. This is on my wishlist, so glad to come across it.

Joanne Harris seems to have a thing for fruit.

Blackberry Wine, Five Quarters of the Orange and now peaches.

It was good to sped some more time with the characters from 'Chocolat' and to meet some new ones.

It's bit difficult to match 'Chocolat' though - particularly for the sense of place which I thought was so prevalent in that book. Maybe I had too high an expectation of 'Peaches' as although I enjoyed the story , it didn't quite speak to me in the same way as either Chocolat or Lollipop shoes. That could of course be down to me and my interpretation rather than about the book itself!
