Catering to Nobody (Goldy, Book 1)
2 journalers for this copy...
I have read quite a few of this series in no particular order and enjoyed them. Came across this book, the first in the series, at a yard sale recently and could not resist seeing where the adventure began.
It was nice to finally read the first book in this series. I have read the others sort of willy-nilly as I came across them in various places, so I was familiar with most of the characters. It was interesting to spend a bit more time with The Jerk and his family to understand that aspect of the ongoing story better. And to meet Tom Schulz and Marla as they arrive on the scene was amusing. A nice and pleasant read for a day when I did not feel well.
Adding this to the Mystery/Thriller VBB organized by bookstogive.

I sent this to my sister-in-law in NJ because I thought she might like it. It was returned to me at Thanksgiving as not being her cup of tea. I will try sending it to my sister-in-law in Utah who has surgery coming up and is more likely to read it during her recovery.

I enjoyed this book. It was a little different, with all the recipe's in it. I'm into mysteries and found this one a little jumpy at times, but would recommend to others.
Currently house bound and trying to decide if I'm going to keep or cross.
