I'm really enjoying going through a phase of reading these Michael Connelly books & this one was no exception.
The plot was complicated enough that there was always a surprise and there was lots of action going on. Even the update to Bosch's personal life took me unawares.
Whilst I've had this on the go I've been lucky enough to find two more Michael Connelly books so I'll be a happy reader for a while :-)
Gidget2 has come back to me to say she now has her own copy of Lost LIght, so I'm going to pass it onto my close friend Numbercruncher to read before it heads off to Darwinara.

Kept me riveted right to the end. Thoroughly recommended.
Borrowed from Kleptokitty, and will get it back on it's original course & off to Darwinara as soon as I have an address.

Sorry for taking so much time to read it. Well I kind of didn't like the beginning, found the book hard to enter. But I kept on reading, and it got better and better. I have to admit that I knew the major events in Bosch's personnal life because I had already read The Narrows.
I'll send it to brujula on monday or tuesday.

I found it waiting for me on my dining room table yesterday, when I came back from a week-end visiting my newborn nephew. I'll try not to keep it too long (but I do have too many books already waiting). Thank you -ma- and darwinara!

I've liked this book as much as the others by the same author.
Thank you very much -ma-!
I'll mail it to Kislany this afternoon or tomorrow.

Wow, I completely forgot about it, and I had it on my wishlist.
I have 2 books in front of this, but hope to finish them soon, so I can get started with this right afterwards.

I loved the book, I found it a little bit dark and sombre though. Even the goriest of books have at times spots that make you giggle, lighten up from the suspense, however I haven't found that with Lost Light. It is as if was written by a sad, disilliusioned person - at least at the time he wrote it. I wonder if this is really how a retired person feels...
However the book did keep me at the edge of my seat all the time, and that counts big with me.
Thanks for letting me read the book. Will send it back to -ma- sometimes this week.
