I am sending this book to mfa in Portugal. It was on her wish list.

Wish? Did someone say wish?

Mekka lekka hi mekka hiney ho!
Mekka lekka hi mekka chiney ho!

The wish is granted. Long live Jambi.

after having read the first book, these "versions" of famous folktakes strike as less astonishing then the first time you come accross them. however, they're still very clever and funny, and although in a very ironical way point out all the political preconceptions we inconsciously grow up with. i especially enjoyed "the sleeping persun" and find its message quite necessary to spread :)
so, i'll be sending this out as a bookray soon.
thank you very much buttenbright, for turning this true bookcrossing epiphany possible :)

Journal Entry 7 by fflloorr on Thursday, April 15, 2004
Well, I'm not disappointed at all with this second book. It's as good as the first one. I really enjoyed "The ant and the grasshopper", my favourite story!

When "Politically Correct Bedtime Stories " was published,I was quite skeptical about it.I was fed up with pollitacaly correctedness.
That will teach me to be prejudiced.I really enjoyed this book, especially "Puss in Boots" and "Sleeping perun of better-than-average Attractiveness".
At least I could I good laugh before going to sleep. Thanks mfa!

Was delivered lo JustSandra this weekend

Journal Entry 11 by Escalla from Lisboa - Parque das Nações, Lisboa (cidade) Portugal on Monday, April 26, 2004
I received this book from terpsicore saturday morning.
I haven't been able to let go of it since.
It's a great book although not much apropriate to pre-adults as it will mainly confuse them and make them think that we adult persuns are a very complicated lot.
Now i'm rather curious about its predecessor.

Will pass it on to hypsis as soon as possible!

Journal Entry 12 by Hypsis on Monday, May 24, 2004
I didn't really like the book... aparently, I am the only one with a bad opinion...

Journal Entry 13 by MissMyr on Wednesday, June 23, 2004
read it between exams

Journal Entry 14 by bookmanu from Cascais, Lisboa (distrito) Portugal on Tuesday, August 17, 2004
It was waiting for me in the post last night.

Thanks mfa ... and applebyte!

Journal Entry 15 by bookmanu from Cascais, Lisboa (distrito) Portugal on Tuesday, August 24, 2004
My thoughts about this book echo escalla's (journal entry 11 above). It was immensly enjoyable although no particular story stood out for me. Like escalla, I'd also like to read it's predecessor.

It was mailed to celiaak from the post office in Linda-a-Velha this morning.

Journal Entry 16 by celiaak on Monday, September 13, 2004
I received the book by postal release from bookmanu.
It was a imense pleasure to read it, and yes, I'm also curious about the first one too.
I loved the way original and traditional story tales were twisted.
I have also read some of them to my kids. They laughed a lot at The Little Mer-Persun.

Journal Entry 19 by Brujula from Valenciennes, Nord-Pas-de-Calais France on Friday, February 18, 2005
I haven't really liked this book. I don't think it's funny, or rather I think it's a very heavy kind of humour.

Thank you for letting me read this book mfa!

Now I'm waiting for ika-cassiopeia's adress to mail her the book.

Journal Entry 20 by Brujula from Valenciennes, Nord-Pas-de-Calais France on Wednesday, March 9, 2005
