One of the things I love the most about Bookcrossing is opening up my mailbox and finding a package that I was not expecting-- it's like getting a gift! Anyway just received this one today and will read it as soon as possible, but it will be a while since I'm still in the middle of another book. I'll write more once I'm done. Thanks for sharing the book Moogytee!

This was an excellent book packed with tons of information that everyone should be aware of (Did you know that the hole in the ozone layer is 10.5 million square miles!!?). It was also funny and I really enjoyed reading it. The only thing that kind of irritated me was that some things seemed a bit exaggerated but maybe that's just Mr. Moore's style. Otherwise this was an excellent book.
Thanks so much moogytee, for sending this book out and also for having patience since I've had it for so long! I will send it out ASAP to WarEagle78 in AL. Enjoy the book!

Got this Monday in the mail and forgot to register it!

So, I know of Michael Moore's work, and I'm not necessairly a fan. But it's always a good idea to read items you may not agree with. There were some pieces of this book I can see his point, others where I think he's just on crack. All in all, it was good that I read this book to see other viewpoints.

Just arrived yesterday... I've finished up my prev ring book so the timing was perfect! I am very skeptical about this author because of the judgement he used (poor in my opinion) in making "Bowling for Columbine". See this link if you want to know more about "why" I object. (http://www.hardylaw.net/Truth_About_Bowling.html) I will read it mostly out of curiosity but knowing fully well he shamelessly manipulates the truth.

So far I am impressed with the book,.. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get into it. I have had an ENDLESS string of houseguests this summer and FINALLY I have my house to myself again! I was not surprised at the Bush-bashing, but I was not expecting the course to run off into "whitey-bashing" however I was a bit surprised that I was agreeing with what he was saying. I am 1/3 way through and I will try to hurry along... just wanted to post an update. I'll PM P-N-C soon for her addy!

Okay, my journal entry is titled "Stupid White Women" and why we sign up for more bookrings than we can possibly read then procrastinate taking care of them when we get overwhelmed with the life, the holidays, in-laws.. etc, and so on and so forth. I am the S-W-W here and am Sooooooo sorry =( I NEVER take this long on rings-- I don't know WHAT I was thinking. I kept trying to convince myself It hasn't been THAT long... well, I finally took the bookmark out of my seemingly stuck page and am giving up on myself with this one... I PMed Penny-n-Chaos for her address--- if she even REMEMBERS signing up for this ring... I am truly sorry I have held onto this for so long. Moogytee-- please select any book from my shelf with my sincere apology.. and my apologies to all after me who have thrown their hands up thinking "another RING bites the dust!" It is forthcoming. REALLY!!
