Journal Entry 1 by greenbadger from St Albans, Hertfordshire United Kingdom on Saturday, June 29, 2013
Registered as part of my personal challenge to release some of my favourite books ever.
Jane Austen's classic tale of the Bennet family: five daughters with little in the way of fortune whose mother's dearest wish is to find them husbands. The beautiful Jane and witty Elizabeth will charm all who read about them. When the amiable Mr Bingley comes to the neighbourhood with his proud friend Mr Darcy, it seems that Mr Darcy despises them all. Capturing beautifully some of the foibles of human nature, this book is a delight to read over and over again.
