Didn't read.

From back cover:
Alone on a moonlit balcony at Houston's White Orchid Charity Ball, Diana Foster had no inkling of the extraordinary journey that would begin that night. Recently jilted by her fiance for a blond Italian heiress - an insult delivered via a sleazy tabloid - Diana felt obliged to attend the ball, if only to uphold the sparkling, steadfast image of her family's Beautiful Living magazine. Very publicly unengaged, Diana knew that certain socialites were already spinning nasty rumors. Haven't read it yet. Looks like a sappy romance novel, but will give it a try. It may find itself freed in Vegas soon. Thanks, Jenvince.

left next to a vet on moorpark avenue. across the street from a bar--"the green frog", i think. still not sure if it is a gay bar or not. always wondered. left it at a public phone. had bad karma on the phone at work today with crummy callers. this book was released near said invention oft-used by crummy callers. didn't get past the first chapter, too romance-like. enjoy!
