5 journalers for this copy...
I bought this years ago on my travels in Britain. The title was calling me by name. How does one know the cartoons are British? They are the only ones who wrap French fries in a newspaper and call them chips.
I was trying to find Rhonder a suitable birthday present. First I thought of a mystery and read one from Mnt.TBR just to find out that she already has the book (always check first!). She probably is fit with all that horsey business, but she is getting on with years... So, the choise fell on this little book which I find funny - and sometimes sadly true.
Enjoy - and stay fit, Old Lady!

I so love your sense of humor!! Thank you so much for thinking of me for my birthday and choosing such a fun book!
And, btw, the things that caught my attention as to the Britishness of the cartoons was "lad", "pub", and "seven stone weakling" ... definitely not Canadian terms :-)
Just remember, I may be getting old, but I'll never be as old as you!!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Moving along in the things bookbox.
If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy! Thanks and happy reading!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Made a brief stop at my house as part of the "history of things" book box. very silly.
I was amused to find this in the book box when I started going through it tonight. Mostly because kirjakko is currently traveling with one of my books and sending me updates (with photos!) from every step -- it has been fun. The contents of the book box are going to meet-up with me tomorrow because some of the locals have expressed an interest. After that, we shall see what happens.
It was there. I read it. Some of the cartoons made me laugh. Really not much more to say about this one.
