Set in London, during WWII, this is an excellent book. Maggie Hope has been recruited by MI-5 and sent to work at Churchill's office. When the book opens, Maggie is being sent to Windsor Castle, to act as a Maths Tutor to the Princess, and try to uncover some shennanagans involving Enigma, and a possible royal kidnapping.

Well researched, Maggie is a woman of her time, with a fierce enough intellect, and armed with an American college education, to allow her to step outside of the limits imposed upon women during the 1940s.
Fly far little book!

This book portrays Queen Elizabeth in her early teenaged years during WW II. She is entrusted to the care of a young woman posing as her math tutor but who is in actually an MI-5 spy protecting the young princess from all threats, real and imagined. An entertaining book, it surely will become a candidate for yet another TV series exported to us from our cousins across "the Pond".

As of Monday, 7/29/13, this copy will be left in a coffee shop near a university in St. Paul, MN. Happy travels, Maggie Hope!! And thanks to your original contributor for a good read!
