A book club read this year. It is the third book after Chocolat and Lollipop Shoes following Vianne Rosher's journey as she returns to Lansquenet where it all started. The book flows well and is an easy read. It is narrated in alternating chapters by Vianne and Father Francis. I liked the symbols at the beginning of each chapter ( the "crescent" for Vianne and the "cross" for Fr Francis) as it made it easy to identify who was telling the story. It is similar in style to the other two books so fan's of Harris will enjoy.

Unfortunately it will probably be a very long time before I reach this one. I also have access to an ebook edition, so have found the book a lovely new home.
Sending off to amberC as a wishlist tag.
Edited to add later: I listened to this as an audiobook in November 2017. Generally OK, typical Joanne Harris, nothing special. I think I need a rest from her though.
Heading north across this "wide, brown land" to amberC.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
