Paperback. Received from another PBS member.
Mankell pulled off another winner. There is little he could employ in one of his novels to make me stop reading his work. I liked this a bit less because easily a third of it is set in South Africa and is wholly political, which I find difficult to read about in fictional settings. However, by the time I finished up, I had a newfound respect for the troubles there. The political structure constructed to keep the whites in power was ridiculous.
