I've had this for who knows how long and reckon that if I haven't felt inspired to release it yet, i never will. It's the pre-First World War memoirs of a child growing up in a far more rural London than the one we know now.
I'm planning a wild release for this book and hope someone will find it and review it and let me know what a good book I missed out on!

Journal Entry 2 by chelseagirl from Faringdon, Oxfordshire United Kingdom on Friday, January 16, 2004
I'm taking this along to the meeting at the Cittie of yorke in London; if nobody claims it I'll release it on the tube on the way home.
Picked up a the Cittie of Yorke pub at my first meetup I've attended.
A collection of poignant stories about the writer's childhood during the First World War. The War is the reason why the writer encounters so many 'people who say goodbye' and many of these never return.
But although the writer encounters death on a fairly regular basis, this is not a gloomy book. These events are used to show how they affect the writers emotional development.
I thought the sequence of tales was a bit disjointed and I admit I was not rivetted by the biography.
