From trove.nla.gov.au:
In June 1665, excited at the prospect of coming to London to work at her sister Sarah's candy shop, teenaged Hannah is unconcerned about rumors of Plague until, as the hot summer advances and increasing numbers of people succumb to the disease, she and Sarah find themselves trapped in the city with no means of escape.

Thanks for the parcel of books which arrived some time this week.
Will add this to Mt TBR, looks interesting.

Really enjoyed this quaint story and hope other readers will similarly enjoy it.
I'm taking it to a Wellington BookCrossers' meet-up in the city this evening where it will either be picked up by one of our members or another one will take it for release somewhere in the city.

I've run out of front stickers at the moment - must order some more.

Caught at Bxing meetup.

It was a quick and easy read, although the subject matter (death of 1/3 of London's inhabitants) wasn't so easy. Curious to think of Chelsea as a village, and Isleworth as being outside London. The ending could be considered a bit of a copout, but there are threads left hanging - do any of them survive...?
