Bought for £1 at the Amnesty International stall at Holywood May Day Fair, had heard it was good....
Starting to read this on the day of Iain Bank's death from cancer :-(
For all the hype, I was not all that impressed! Maybe because I come from an almost cultish background, and the things he was highlighting as outlandish were *normal* for me for a long time. Isis' *rebellion* was nothing compared to some I know, and in the end she went back to it rather pathetically i thought.
Also the book was falling apart by the time I was finishing it, pages falling out, and a baby grand-daughter chewed one of the loose pages! so I don't think it will be released, except maybe in my own group.
