My friend 6of8, using a prenumbered labeled from my other friend RubyLadyBug, gave this book to me for my birthday. "Snarf" is a special word among us Markeroons. I'll be curious what the context is in this book.

Journal Entry 4 by 6of8 at -- Mail or by hand-rings, RABCK, meetings, etc, Virginia USA on Monday, February 13, 2017
I pounced on this because of the word "snarf" in the title. Then Melydia informed me that it was one from her birthday, which means the last time I saw it I pounced on it because of the word "snarf" in the title. At least I am consistent, even if forgetful.

I am definitely not the target audience for this book (boys 12 and under). But it was amusing and the illustrations were spot on and it made a good palate cleanser after an intense read. The main attraction of this book for me was the word Snarf in the title. The Riot Brothers (of course named Wilbur and Orville) use the word to describe the situation where you laugh so hard that the beverage you are drinking comes out of your nose (to me, that situation is Snorfling). My friends and I use Snarf/Snarfing to mean collecting historical markers via photos and logging them on thr Markeroni.com website. I will say, though, that I have never used the word Underfoodle before and given that it involves wearing multiple pairs of underpants on your head, I will not be adding the word to my daily vocabulary. But if the situation arises, I will at least be prepared.
During my brief time in Austin, I had a few minutes to visit the capital building. There are many snarfs nearby, so it seemed a good place to release this book.
