Australian classic.
I am sending this to Scism as a RABCK. Enjoy!

Journal Entry 2 by Scism from Adelaide, South Australia Australia on Monday, December 15, 2003
Received Tirra Lirra in the mail today - oh how I love RABCKs! This fits really nicely with my recent desire to increase the number of Australia classics that I've read, so I'm looking forward to delving into it. I've only read the first few pages so far, and I'm already hooked. Thanks fuji!

Although I don't have time to do an extensive journal entry right now, simply said, this is an Australian classic. So wonderful that I feel like the main character is now a close friend, and I can't even find a small thing to say I didn't like about it.

Since I've never previously been "into" Aussie fiction, the fact that I'm giving Tirra Lirra 10/10 really says something.

I plan to release this into the Australian Already Crossed BookBox.

This sounds fascinating, and written by an Aussie! Can't wait to tuck into this one (taken from the Already Crossed Bookbox). Thanks!

This was fantastic - so well written and original, and the character is sketched so finely. There are some wonderful expressions and turns of phrase. Excellent.

Released 19 yrs ago (9/16/2004 UTC) at Womens Info Centre - Railway Cnt Arcade in Adelaide, South Australia Australia
