Was visiting my hometown for my 40th high school reunion. Bought this at the new Quincy Bookstore, on the bargain rack - got six very fine titles (four novels, a memoir and on nonfiction) for a mere $24!

This is the first book by this well-known author I've actually read, I had listened to another of his works on audio but can't recall the title.
The story hit me pretty hard in the gut, the title is apt because it describes stuff that happens in, well, everyman's life..... I related personally to the aging issues, health problems, communicating with grown children, a couple divorces, etc.....

I have to say that there are some lifestyle changes I am making right now as a direct result of reading this book.
