I originally recived this book in my stocking one Christmas. I remember it being a really good Christmas because we had stayed at my aunts house. She had given me sticker book to do because I couldn't sleep that night. And the next morning we seemed to have loads of presents. I had Polly Pocket world as my main present :) Though I was abit jealous of my sister's Lucy Locket. Anyways this book came in a set of 12. They didn't really appeal to me. I read a few over the years but I not sure if was ever a joyful experience. I'm going to try again, now that I'm older (It's my birthday today!).
I loved this book! I sat and read this in an hour last night. Even though this is not the original version, it's been edited for younger readers it's still well worth a read. I really must get around to reading the full version one day!
Even though this is for younger readers, it didn't shy away from the hard stuff like the picture book I reviewed did. Ginger actually dies in this one :(
I'm really glad this book brought to light the mistreatment of horses, they are wonderful animals. I've always wanted to own one but funds will never allow for that, unless I suddenly come into alot of money.
Wonderful book, would recommend to old and young alike :)

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Happy Reading :)
Thanks for this cute little book!
Cute little story that teaches us not to mistreat animals. The story moved me a lot when I was a kid, and it's still nice to re-read it after all those years.
