Written especially those who serve others in ministry and suffer burnout symptons. The first part of this book deals with burnout and the second part is about the dark night of the soul.

I found the first part of the book more relevant for me to read. The book served as a warning for me, watch out for burnout! I liked the way the author talked about how it's not good to let the person suffering from a burnout know what you are praying for him or her, just pray for her. Then the person doesn't feel the pressure to get better.

I took this again from my shelf before Christmas and read some of it. I think this should stay in my permanent collection for now.
