Need to get rid of some long time favorites from my library
Caught at today's meet-up at Green Sage Café. On to Mt TBR it goes.
This is a delightful account of John and Winifred Fortescue's move to Provence from England in the 1930s. The narrative is very engaging particularly in relation to their adaption to the village community. Winifred's obvious wit and warmth and above all her total involvement with the everyday events of a Provencal village make a great read.
