CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
tried readnig but didn't really get into it - posting as a wishlist RABCK
The wishlist book has arrived safely today, thanks! I wonder if it really has travelled a whole month from UK to Finland ?!
This wasn't the best book McCall Smith has written - maybe too many characters, which made it hard to follow? Anyway, I found many warm-hearted, human thoughts this time, too. Corduroy Mansions isn't my favourite series, but I'll certainly give it a chance in the future, too.
Sending to someone who has it on the wish list.

Oh, Lukutuoli! So kind of you sending this book to me, thank you a lot! :)
The book arrived today safely in my mail box. Unfortunately another parcel - for my husband - had got some damage, but luckily the contents were ok there too.
It has been a while since I have been reading anything of Alexander McCall Smith, but as I happened to get the first book in this series as a RABCK as well, I think I will start reading these soon.

I started reading this book straight after I had finished the previous one in the series. The characters are just so interesting, they seem to ponder things a lot and that's what I like in this books - besides of the plot which goes its ways, in very comfortable way.

Reserved to toukokuu.
Pondering really is an essence in these books - suits me so well. I'm a fan of this author. I'm so glad I've found his books, their are such good-hearted entertainment with an intellectual and philosophical twist. Well, I haven't read this series yet but base this on my experience of McCall Smiths other books. Thank you so much dear bookcrossers for passing this on!
I decided to read this soon after part 1 in the series as it is in Sannuli's wishlist and I'll be meeting her on Saturday. And I wanted to spend more time with the characters I got to know in the first book of this series. Berthea tries to save Terence, Freddie de la Hay serves his country and Dee decides to sell Sudoku Remedy. It was a good read but now I need a break from McCall Smith - I love to read his books but not all the time.
Thanks for your company and enjoy reading!
