It was a thrill to spot Thomas Mann's Death in Venice and Seven Other Stories today in Zehr's Bryne Drive atop a shopping cart in the coralle near the pay phone. I have read about global undertakings regarding book mobility before and enjoy the notion of paying the pleasures and empowerment of reading forward . . . but not before I read the title story another time. Then Tonio Kroger, Mario and the Magician, Disorder and Early Sorrow, A Man and his Dog, The Blood of the Walsungs, Tristan and Felix Krull stories beckon within as well. This book's drawback is that it is filled with mold spores and will not be spending nights in the bedroom.
