Picked up at the Auckland UnConvention. I've read this one too, but I might give it a re-read.

I thought I had read this, but I worked out about 100 pages in that I hadn't actually read it, just that the blurb sounded a lot like one of her other books that I have read.

Every time I read one towards the beginning of this series, I think that I should have read them in order, but it's a bit late now!

Good read, although I felt that I was missing some of the backplot as I haven't read earlier books in this series. It does work as a standalone book, but would have been better if I'd known the characters better.

Sadly the book has literally disintegrated, and is now a pile of pages not even loosely bound, so I can't continue it on its journey. It's heading for the recycling now.
