When tears are cardboard,
the cold dreams of the dead
turn emerald against the night
of deeper thoughts

Found that this book was on someone's wishlist and decided to offer it to him for something that looked good on his list. :)
So off it goes to someone that is very happy to have it! :D

"Caught" this in the mail today, as a trade for Rim, Cirque du Freak, and Weirdos from Another Planet, as soon as I get those read and sent off. Thank you!
1998 Berkley paperback of the 1968 thriller by the psedonymous English author (Harry Patterson). This was on my wishlist for quite a while becaue my local library copy turned up missing.
I can let this go after I read:
1962 The Testament of Caspar Schultz [read 2019]
1965 The Graveyard Shift [read 2012]
Edit October 27, 2013: Well, this one was not as easy of a read as the prior one. It sort of lost me early on, and not much seemed to happen throughout, except in snippets here and there, which then inexplicably seemed to be followed by long periods of calm again. I don't get that kind of plotting, once the bad guys actually start shooting at you. But at least I am glad to check this one off my list, since it was kind of hard to find. And now I can comfortably move on to see how the later books hold up.
