...less about conscience-pricking, and more about saving the world with style. (Vanity Fair)
A fashion must-have for those keen to be green. (Daily Telegraph)
For girls who care about global warming, and next season's hot looks, Green is the New Black is a must-have accessory. From the truth about fast fashion to the best biodegradable shoes, from guilt-free spending sprees to the joys of swishing parties, this is the chicest, greenest survival manual around. If you want to change the world, and your wardrobe, don't go shopping without it!

Yesterday's find from the book-swap cart at Main Library Metso, Tampere, Finland.
I'm troubled by the whole spending/shopping/fast fashion attitude and fail to grasp the connection between Fashion and Survival (no matter how 'green' the mask applied). The concept simply brushes me the wrong way, all the way, and I find it tremendously difficult to keep up even a rudimentary interest.
Also, for a book renowned for its beautiful presentation and its subject matter, I would've expected a less old-fashioned style and layout.
This said, maybe someone else will find the book more inspirational! There's no denying it is a must-have for any fashionistas out there :-)

This book has been with me for much too long. Anyone interested?
