Vanna's Afghans A to Z: 52 Crochet Favorites
2 journalers for this copy...
According to the book, Vanna White, of Wheel of Fortune letter turning fame, loved to crochet so much, that she took her crochet with her everywhere she went, including to the set of Wheel of Fortune. The book contains 52 patterns, supposedly Ms. Vanna's favorites. Sadly, I must say that this book is not up to Leisure Arts' usual high quality. While most of the patterns are in Leisure Arts' traditional easy to read, easy to follow style, a few are a bit more cumbersome and unclear. Regardless, overall, there is a nice variety of afghan patterns for any level crocheter. While I wouldn't suggest this book as one to use to stretch your crochet talents, I would recommend this one to anyone who has a solid foundation in crochet and is comfortable tweaking a pattern on occasion.

I received FOUR wonderful crochet pattern books in yesterday's mail ... Wow! Some of these projects are beautiful!!! I'm just learning how to read patterns, so I'll start with the very easiest first, but SOMEDAY I will get up to the most difficult ones!!! Thank you so much, this is exactly what a learner needs to help her through the beginning steps!!!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
☺ Happy Traveling, Book! ☺ Sadly, I don't have the skills yet to use the patterns in this book, so I'm sharing it at the store where I've had some classes and where I buy a lot of yarn and supplies. I'm leaving it in the classroom, well labeled, so it's very clear that it's there for sharing, and not part of the store's inventory! I hope someone can use this!! (I haven't learned how to use the diagram-style patterns yet, and they are confusing the HECK out of me!) LOL.
