CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Enjoy!
I started to read and stopped on page 11 as I had no idea where the writer was trying to get at. I have a houseful of books at the moment, so I've long since decided that if the book has no flow, I will move on to the next one.
Edit: Didn't have the chance to write a release-note, so I'm doing it here. The book took too long to send, sorry for that, but as I was travelling through Sweden shortly after I had finished reading the book I decided to wait that much longer and send it from there. Last Friday we drove towards Oslo and stopped in a small village near the Norwegian border to fill up the tank and post the book, only to find out that in Sweden post offices close at four (in Finland they are open at least to 5 pm)!
So on our return we arrived late to Best Western Gustav Fröding Hotel in Karlstad, picked up randomely because it was so near E18 and halfway from Oslo and Stockholm. I had never heard of Fröding, but he was a Swedish poet and they had his books for sale at the hotel and a lovely lending library of all sorts of books for their guests ( I left Steinbeck's 'Resa med Charley' there as I was on a trip with my dog Manne). Very nice personel, the dog got a goodie-bag from the receptionist and they had a leather-covered dog bed with a fleece blanket in the room, a dog-towel and two different size bowls and poop bags. Wow! Manne loved her bed and wants one at home as well...
I was also given a choise of four different pillows which were on show at the reception; one type was for people who sleep on their side, one for those who sleep on their back and there was also the choice of soft / hard.
I asked directions for the post office, but they offered to post my cards and this book. The food buffets both evening and morning were excellent, so all in all, if you ever happen to need a room in Karlstad, remember Gustav Fröding!
Edit 2: I don't know if their service is as good for people who travel with cats...

Lovely book!
I've read this book ages ago and my colleague wanted to read it after me, so I'll pass it on to her.
I've already saved it a year and a half for her. We still work from home because of Covid. Next week I'll finally see her again and I can give her the book.
