This is an important book to read, especially before the next election. Every single person has the power to make a difference, even in a small way; together we can inform others politically, get involved, and take back this country. That is the best message that Michael Moore tries to bring across in this book, and that is also why I look up to him. I don't agree with everything he says (and I still don't quite understand why he's supporting Wesley Clark for president, over Kucinich or Dean), but he definitely raises some interesting and important points. And he just wants people to get involved... to think about things, to question our leaders.

"Dude, where's your country? It's right outside your window, just waiting for you to bring it home."

So in order to allow as many other bookcrossers the chance to read it as possible, I'm starting a book ray. PM me if you would like to be added to the list.

Thank you so much for allowing me to read this book. I received it yesterday in the mail and already started to read it. As you said, I don't agree with everything he says BUT it is important we have access to information. Which is more and more manipulated by the media giants and in the process some disappears or it changes in ways I never thought possible in our country. Therefore, I will always appreciate Michael Moore's work and courage to bring all this in the open.

rec'd this today - it should be interesting. I've already read "Sleeping with the Devil" (which Moore frequently refers to). Will post more when finished.

Well, it appears this book is officially "lost", until I hear otherwise. I've sent SeeWest a couple PM's about whether the book had been received, and still haven't heard back. I'm a little disappointed that the book couldn't continue to travel in the month before the election, but oh well. I hope everyone who had the chance to read the book got something out of it, and maybe it will still turn up again at some point in time.
