Silence of the Grave: A Reykjavik Murder Mystery (Reykjavik Murder Mysteries 2)

A good read!
OK, it is not Miss Smilla's Feeling For Snow, which I loved, or The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc.
However this book does have that fantastic 'northern' way of speaking.
I don't mean to generalise, but compared to us down here, authors from the cold countries have a direct, even brutal way of speaking. I went to uni with a girl from Sweden, and she too spoke like this.
For me it adds a dimension of harsh reality that mirrors a good murder mystery. One that you can sink your teeth in to.
Let me know what you think
