I was quite disappointed with this book. So many people write about how funny this series is - I laughed exactly once, at something Grandma Mazur did. Mostly I was annoyed with the less-than-brilliant things Stephanie does and the unnecessary risks she takes. Maybe this is supposed to be part of the humor?

One character nearly gave me nightmares. (I am, admittedly, a total wimp when it comes to violence in books and movies, but this character was so purely evil that it was really frightening [and another reason to *not* consider this a humorous book]).

I may give the next installment a try - just to be fair :-)
