Jack comes from a long line of newspaper reporters. His father is the editor of the local paper, his brother moved to the big city as a whiz reporter, and Jack got bounced out of college. Life changes when Ward returns to their small town to investigate the fate of a local hood on Death Row. Odd and quirky, enjoy.

I plucked this from the first OBCZ I have ever seen, at Gingko's Coffeehouse on Snelling and Minnehaha, during the BookCrossers' meetup (another first for me). One of the BCers mentioned that it failed to hold her interest. I am amused to find now that she was the one who gave away this copy.

So, quietorchid, thank you, and I hope I will stay awake. The dialogue and description seemed good, the bits I browsed.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Shaggy dog story that changes direction about halfway through. The main female character is not a nice person. We never really learn much about the narrator or his brother, who is the main character. Maybe they are "paper" boys in more ways than one.

I am sending this book back out into the world as part of multiple BookCrossing release challenges: Movie Books; Keep Them Moving; Never Judge a Book by its Cover (week 21).
