I am still reeling from finishing this novel. It was definitely not what I was expecting. I knew there were twists after reading the reviews but this went well beyond your normal twists. The novel is divided into 3 parts, and they are very different stories.

Nick goes home on his anniversary to find his wife missing with signs of a struggle. The story unfolds from Nick's-present tense-unfolding of the search for Amy and his eventual suspicion to Amy's diary of their relationship. The second part deals with Nick's fall down the rabbit hole and we find out that Amy is not quite what was expected. I will not say more about the meat of the plot but it is filled with surprises.

A tagged book - and it's on a lot of wishlists, so it will be traveling somewhere after I read it. Thank you!

I started this one Saturday night and only had a few pages to read as of Sunday bedtime. Finished it at lunchtime today (Monday). I couldn't put this one down, and I blame it for my sunburn, as I sat at the pool reading wayyy too long yesterday!

As others have said, I knew this had some twists, but it still caught me by surprise more than once. Very well written, well planned story, with an ending that had me pulling out my hair - argh!!
