Echoes from the Dead

One of the best mysteries I've read in quite some time. Everything was well-done; plot, characters, sense of place. I was initially worried that the back and forth of "now" and the past of Nils would be clunky but it went very seamlessly and each plot line advanced each other. I was also worried that I would just hate Julia and I did for a while but she was very real as were all the characters. I never expected the final plot twists and I could not put it down. Really well-done.
