Picked up from the library book sale room to read as I enjoyed both Big Stone Gap and Milk Glass Moon by this author when read a few years ago.

I first stumbled onto the Big Stone Gap books with Milk Glass Moon which was the book that comes after this one. In catching up with the story I have enjoyed reading about Ave Maria and her family and their lives in Virginia.

This was another good quick read. Ave Maria is still in grief after the looss of a child and it takes a trip to Italy and the threat of another woman taking her husband from her to make her step back and think about what and who is really important to her.
