He-Man Mini-Comics in four languages: English,
German (Skeletor's Drache),
French (Le Dragon de Skeletor) and
Italian (Il Drago di Skeletor)

Skeletor's Dragon is the title of a Masters of the Universe minicomic. It was packaged with Stinkor's action figure. The comic was written by Christy Marx. The artwork was by Peter Ledger. It was packaged with Dragon Blaster Skeletor.

SummaryEdit

Skeletor discovers the intact skeleton of a huge dinosaur under a pile of stones. He reanimates it magically and uses it for riding, naming him Battle Bones. At the same time, He-Man and the Heroic Warriors are in a tournament of skill and strength at the palace. Meanwhile, Skeletor has encountered Mekaneck, Ram Man and Man-E-Faces and captured them with magically enchanted chains. Skeletor's dragon, using its hypno-mist, puts them to sleep. The same strategy works for all the heroes at the royal festivities. Only He-Man manages to break free from the chains in spite of their magical nature. Skeletor runs away, but he has to leave the dinosaur skeleton behind. The Sorceress releases him from the evil spell and Battle Bones tells his story. His race had died out a long time ago, he was the last of them and died alone. He-Man then welcomes him to the Heroic Warriors.

I think I never read this to my son. He could not read these languages at the time he was playing with these toys. Now he can read English and German - if he wants.

This is my # 105 (120) in
"REDUCE MOUNT TBR 2012" Challenge arranged by Dove-i-Libri.

I had lot of fun while reading this mini book. Luckily there was the English version which I read first and then in other languages. The vocabularly was quite different from what they teach at the beginners level...

Anyway, I managed to read something in Italian, and with this little comic I take part in Language challenge!
