Stories and excepts from longer works, encompassing a century, beginning with Henry James' The Pupil, first published in 1891. It's been some time since I read this book, but I remember it as being on the exceptional side. There are numerous well-known writers, maybe more than I realize ~~ I don't recognize the names of the contemporary authors, but you well may. I read a lot, but I don't know that I am 'well-read'.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

Once upon a time I reread books fairly often....but that was before bookcrossing, and living in a city with great thrift stores, and now there are so many books waiting to be read for the first time, that rereads just don't happen. So I'm turning loose another that I've kept to reread, so that You may enjoy it as well. This is being sent off to help restart Gory's LGBT bookbox.

I actually had a copy of this book, probably 20 years or so ago, and only got around to reading one or two of the stories before lending it out and never getting it back. How exciting to have opened the book box and see the familiar cover art! I'm going to take this and read the stories.
