Picked this up at a library book sale. The best kind - give them $5, and you can fill a box with books. Unfortunately I picked up 2 copies of this same book without realizing it. Time to pass one along and read the other copy.

This was a book with an interesting format, the story told from different points of view from the main characters. I felt that the male character didn't really synch up with the female character's point of view of him. The themes are somber and sad but it is an interesting post-modern novel.

Setting aside to bring to future Boston meet-up.

Caught at the BC meeting last month in Harvard Square.

Couldn't find any hint of the plot on the front or back covers of this book. But bookcrossers summed it up (a kid drowns, and people have to cope) and praised this novel, so I'll give it a go!
