This was the first time I've ever read anything by Katherine Mansfield and I really enjoyed the character building and her descriptive writing style. All the short stories are quite sad and I felt pity towards at least one of the characters of each story but at the same time they were beautiful. Beautifully sad. One really shouldn't wait for a plot to turn up because there is no such thing in this book because with all these stories we get to look inside the head of the protagonists - so this was a very enjoyable and unique reading experience.

My favorite story was the last one, "The Doll's House".

We had a Meetup in Hof today and I found this little book on the table...
