This book has jumped into the Tag Game! :)
It looks like a fun book and for some reason, I have a feeling you're going to have a great time with this! :D

Thanks, just received this today. Do I need to start another series? Probably not. Will I if I like book #1? I am sure I will! LOL!
Not really sure that I liked this book. I liked the feeling of it, the writers club and of course the main characters dog, Haviland. But I didn't care for Olivia, who seems like a rich *itch and very arrogant. Also, you are given the feeling that there is something "haunted" about the light house cottage where she lived as a child, but after she remodels it for the club meeting place, nothing else is said about it. Of course, the book is set up to be a continuing series, and I placed #2 on my wish list, to see if it gets any better. My feeling though is, if I get the book, fine, if not, that's fine too.
A wish list tag. I hope you enjoy it more than I did.
Thank you for this tag! I've wanted to read this for quite some time.
[I just looked at the Amazon reviews for this, and many people seem to be in agreement with you about Olivia's character...I may not like her either, but we'll see about the plot...:-)]

I liked this first-in-series. Olivia's character is difficult to warm up to, but I eventually did. I see her coolness as a way to protect herself. I think she really does want to make friends but is being cautious. (I've since read the next book in the series and she continued to be more sympathetic, in my opinion).
I thought the use of haiku in the plot was clever.
Thanks again for introducing me to this series, T02...!
