I picked up this little book at the Used Book Superstore in Burlington MA (they're having a sale, and I'm weak {grin}). It's a collection of cat-themed cartoons, and should be a good geocache release.

Among my favorites:

Charles Addams' cartoon showing a man reading before a fire, feet resting on a bearskin rug, and his cat beside him, curled up in its cat-bed - with a mouse-skin rug.

The classic Soglow cartoon showing a cat playing with yarn until it manages to knit itself into a sweater.

"The Vigil," by Anthony Taber, a two-page comic strip showing cats going out at night - and turning into guardians watching over their house.

Donald Reilly's cartoon showing a shop front with "Cat-Free Bookstore" in the window.

Robert Mankoff's series of drawings showing a man yelling "Scat!" at a cat that's caterwauling on the fence - at which point the cat switches from yowling to scatting!

Picked up as I love this size book for geocaching.

Journal Entry 6 by futurecat at Christchurch, Canterbury New Zealand on Saturday, June 8, 2013
It always makes my day when there's a parcel from Lytteltonwitch in the letterbox - they always contain so many cool little surprises!

I must admit I've never really got the appeal of The New Yorker's cartoons - the humour always seems to either be wildly over-my-head pretentious or boringly predictable. But a cat book is always appreciated :-)

PS. Hi Gory!
