Journal Entry 1 by bookguide from Wijchen, Gelderland Netherlands on Saturday, October 6, 2012
I popped into Lux the other evening to escape the rain and waste some time before walking up to the station to catch the last train home; it's so much more civilised in there than it is at the station! There was a little pile of unregistered books at the end of the bookshelf, so I took this one to read on the way home and register later. As it happened, a friend kindly gave me a lift home, so I didn't start to read it, and I don't know if I will.

Back cover blurb:
Ger wants to be a boy but Jesus isn't having any of it, which begs the question: if God can send a man to the moon why can't he work a miracle for a girl? And if He can't, does He even exist and who cares anyway when Elvis can sing 'Jail House Rock' as sweetly as any virgin and help Ger to forget her worries about whether she'll burn in hell for kidnapping an altar boy or for showing her knickers to the world...

Review:
I did read this but didn't write a review and it doesn't seem to have made a lasting impression.
