David's new stepsister says she's a witch...and that their new house is haunted.

This Newbery Honor book is #98 on the ALA's 100 Most Frequently Challenged Books of 1990–2000 list, mostly because of the "witchcraft". More information about the challenges to this book (with spoilers) here.
