CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

A wish list tag. Hope you enjoy it. My biggest grip was that everyone "gasped" every other page. Other than that, it wasn't too bad.

Thank you, T02S03B11D20! I've recently taken an interest in reading books about/set among the Amish.

I'll look out for the gasps! ;-)

Journal Entry 4 by wingeponine38wing at Winchester, Massachusetts USA on Thursday, February 27, 2014
Oh, I really enjoyed this look into Amish society and the conflicts/tensions that exist with the "English" (non-Amish). I liked the characters and the story was fully believable. Sometimes in cozy mysteries I get a little annoyed when the main character is torn between two love interests, but here it was a plus to the story.

I actually didn't notice the many gasps (!), but what I found too many incidences of was Claire tucking a stray strand of Esther's hair back into her cap ;-). Only a slight diversion from my enjoyment of the book.

Recommended!
