Yay this arrived today. Wow, that was really fast! Thanks so much Scaredy, I hope you received the two Sue Grafton novels I sent to you as well :D.
I finished reading this on the weekend. Ooops, reading other books when I supposed to be reading bookrays. Bad fushie! It's a quick, fun read but definitely not my favourite vampire novel. The series leans more towards romance then to horror.
I'd still like to read the third in the series, I will have to find a bookray :D.

Off to oneocean today.
I'm a terrible girl, I was so sure I'd registered this! Picked it up because I'm about to send it off on a trade - sorry to leave you hanging like this!
Posted to arwen-galadriel who requested something vampire related in exchange for the Calvin & Hobbes I'm currently enjoying. Hope this fits the bill!
Received book last night in the mail, which came as a complete surprise as I wasn't expecting anything. I have already started and will journal once again, once I've done some reading. (Thanks oneocean)
All right it took me a little while to get this one finished, not because it was an awful book or anything but because having to balance a job and school do have to take priority over my personal reading habits much to my disappointment.
As for my thoughts on the book, I really enjoyed the perspective of the book as being told by someone who isn't a vampire. That was a nice change for me as a lot of the other vampire books that I've read have been told from the perspective of someone who is a vampire. I also liked the storyline as well. The only problem that I had with the book was that that the different storylines didn't seem to flow together well for my taste. I know they were set in two different places but they could have been connected so much better and have been less seperated. Oh well you can't have everything.
Now that I have finished the book I have decided to make the book into a bookray. I will be sending the book out as soon as I get the address for the first participant. The order of the participants is as follows...
Apolonia (USA)
Auglaise (UK)
pedroportugal (Portugal)

Book just arrived in my mailbox today. Thank you! I will leave another journal entry when I'm finished.
I just finished this book this morning. When I signed up for this bookray I hadn't realised this was the second book in a series, so my only complaint is I will be reading out of order. Even though it is the second book it still stands alone and was very enjoyable. I like that fact that it was different and made fun of the typical vampire sterotypes. I'll be on the lookout for the first one in the series and waiting for the third to come out.
Thanks for sharing. I mailed this out surface today 02/08/05.

I enjoyed this very much! I was surprised how adult it was for a young adult book...or at least, I thought it was a young adult book, but thinking about some of the scenes I'm probably wrong. I didn't realize that it was the second book in the series, but I'd definately like to read more of them. Thank you very much for sharing!
