I've adored Gorey's work for a long time now, and when I saw this cute double-sided book at Barnes and Noble I couldn't resist it. One side has a short Halloween-themed story, one page for each letter of the word "Halloween" - and with tiny flip-book images in the corners, which feature a leaping pumpkin. The other side is "Edward Gorey's Ghosts", a collection of drawings featuring ghosts of different types, from humorous to goofy to downright creepy. Definitely a treat for Gorey fans!

I'm sending this book out as part of a Samhain exchange package. Hope the recipient enjoys it!

I like Gorey's ghosts!

As a part of the 2016 CELTIC & IRISH TRADITION: SAMHAIN (4th itl. MEDIEVAL EXCHANGE) Gorey's ghosts are now flying to UK to the next station of their Samhain journey.

Recieved in the Samhain exchange. Thanks, it's something I can share with my nephew.

Received as one of a lovely big heap of books to take to the 2018 BCUK Unconvention in Ipswich.
