I'd just given up on a book that I'd been trudging through when I picked up this book. I absolutely charged through this one. I think I was just grateful to read a book with a plot. The plot's actually kind of ludicrous, but the characters are enjoyably caustic. I will look out for more by Liz Jensen.

This didn't disappoint. Some of the plot is an exaggerated situation but the characters are brilliant. There are some great lines in this book taht made me laugh out loud.

Well, this is a bit whacky to say the least! An ideal read during the Christmas break which is in itself a weird time of year. Some lovely characters and lively enthusiastic writing. The whole thing is mad as a bag of frogs, but very enjoyable.
