This new paperback was a gift from my good friend Wendy. Can't wait to read it - one of my favorite authors!

Another good Lucas Davenport story. When Lucas first became a cop 25 years ago, he was in on an unsolved kidnapping of two young girls. Today, their two bodies have been found. Lucas weighs in and takes over the case. He has been haunted by the original case over all these years and now he sees a chance to silence the nightmare and the killer and right any errors he might have made all those years ago.
