I was introduced to this story in the theater. I loved going to see the Shepherd of the Hills performances put on by the School of the Ozarks when we would go to Branson. Being a book lover, I had to read the book it was based on. I love the book too. I have started collecting copies to release around Branson to share with others. I hope the next reader enjoys the story as much as I do.

I dropped this book off in my home church, oddly enough, also entitled, "Shepherd of the Hills". I left it in the lobby to see if someone there would pick it up. I watched all day Sunday, but the few who picked it up to look at it also put it right back down. We'll see if someone was interested enough to take it by next week.
