Not for everyone, but definitely a good choice for a short road trip! "Throttle" is the better of the two, just because we expect more detail and drama from our thrillers in this day and age. The banter in the diner cracked me up and the violence made me cringe. Best part though? The whole time, they're headed to Show Low, Arizona -- just 7 miles up the road from my home town! (Though clearly King and Hill have never been there because they make the mistake of assuming there are saguaro nearby! Far from it... You're more likely to see aspen trees!)

A perfect choice for me as I love both Stephen King & Joe Hill & its the ideal length to listen to on one of our frequent trips to Scotland - thank you :o)
We listened to both tracks on our way back from Scotland this weekend (luckily for us the motorway was free of duel-like lorries!) & like other listeners "Throttle" was my favourite....I'm always curious as to how two authors manage to work together - wonder if King wrote the father's part & Hill the son's?
